Donate

Every little bit helps.

We’re so grateful to our donors. Without your support we wouldn’t have been able to rescue and care for the more than 1,000 cats and dogs who came through the USPCA’s gate each year. The USPCA is happy to accept in-kind and monetary donations.

How to Donate:

To donate via Mobile Money, please send your donation to the USPCA account at +256 772 403789. You can also drop your donation at The Haven (please send us an email message, text, or WhatsApp if you plan to drop a donation so that we can ensure to thank you and record it appropriately).

For international (or in-country) bank transfers, click for information. (Notice to U.S. account holders, please refer to the donation information on the Animal-Kind International site, below, a preferable method for recurring monthly donations due to the fees incurred with bank transfers.)

To donate through our Partner Organization, Animal-Kind International (AKI), using your bank account or credit card, PayPal or through an employer giving program, do so here.

You can also send a check or money order to AKI for USPCA (mail to POB 300, Jemez Springs, New Mexico 87025 USA). AKI is a 501(c)(3) organization; in the U.S., donations to USPCA through AKI are tax deductible to the extent the law allows.

Recurring Donations:

Monthly donations are a huge help to us. Every month we worry about meeting our costs: salaries, shelter rent, cat and dog food, shelter supplies, transport, and more. Monthly donations help us ensure we can continue to care for Haven and community animals.

Monthly donations can be arranged via mobile money in Uganda +256 772 403789 or through Animal-Kind International.

Those looking to donate on an annualized basis, please read about our Kennel Sponsorship program here.

USPCA's Land Fund:

The USPCA desperately needs to relocate its shelter to expand its ability to accommodate the growing number of cats and dogs at The Haven, have a proper quarantine area and a proper visitors' room, and construct a play area for dogs to release energy.

Animal-Kind International has set up a fund for this purpose. Contribute here and write a comment that the donation is for USPCA's land fund. We also accept donations to the Land

Fund via the donation methods mentioned above; please make a note that the donation is for the Land Fund.

We also accept in-kind donations!

We always need blankets, towels, newspapers, dog/cat food, holding crates and animal supplies (toys, bedding, bowls, etc.). Just drop them off at the shelter at your convenience or contact us to arrange a time for drop-off.

We are often in need of other supplies. If you're wondering if we could put something you have to use, contact us at uspca2003@yahoo.com.

People traveling from out-of-country are urged to bring puppy and kitten formula—not available locally—in their suitcase to give our youngest residents a fighting chance at survival.
